- 17:00
Here's a month's notice for an opportunity to clear out your cupboards and cut down your clutter! Bridie's Yard Organic Food Co-op is holding a quality Tat Sale on Thursday 11th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th February. This is a great time of year to root through your cupboards and drawers and see what you can pass on to others... Refresh your wardrobe, recycle your old favourites, and renew your committment to empty space - and then see what comes to fill it! Now's the time to lighten up your collections of clothes, books, cd's toys, home furnishings, fabric and all that stuff! What about all those things that you don't want any more but they're just a bit too special for the second hand shop....? Just want them to go to a really nice home where they'll be properly appreciated...? Really nice homes guaranteed! You can either set up a table yourself and donate a % of what you earn to Bridie's Yard, or donate your gear and we'll sell it for you! All proceeds will go to the Bridie's Yard 'Flooring Fund' - to raise money to replace and upgrade carpets and flooring in the community hall and shop. The sale will run at the same time as the Organic Food Shop opens - Thursday 5pm - 8pm (11th Feb) and Friday 9am - 6pm (12th Feb) and will also run from 11am - 4pm on Saturday (13th Feb. Entrance

19Nomadic Academy of Foolsat Bridies Yard, Glastonbury BA6 9NU
- 20:00
Using the Fooling Structure created by Jonathan Kay the Nomadic Academy of Fools have been working on a production of Shakespeare’s Richard II, creating a dream-like performance without props or set and with all of the performers learning all of the script and playing all of the parts. Half way through the process, the performers are presenting extracts from the full play with scratch performances in Glastonbury. Scratch performances are a pioneering approach to developing new theatre work from its early stages in conversation with an audience, feeding directly into the overall shape of the play. Payment for this event is by donation. Please go to www.nomadicacademyoffools.com or www.jonathankay.co.uk for more information and details on donations.
